The Eisteddfod is Europe’s largest touring cultural festival, and 2024’s eight-day event in Ynys Angharad saw an average of 12,000 visitors a day.

Deryncoch provided advance health and safety planning advice, created Event Safety Management Plans, liaised with key local agencies and the local authority and provided an on site team for the build, break and festival live dates.

Bethan Davies was also Event Control Coordinator for the duration of the festival, deploying security and medical resources across the site, an acting as a central point for delegation of tasking and resource requests. This was delivered bilingually in Welsh and English.
